Hi There! I’m Ian Forrest Adams, and if you’re here you’re probably curious in some fashion about who I am and what I do.
The very short version, is that I’ve got a PhD in computer science, and in my day-job I am combination scientist, developer, and engineer, working for Intel Labs Advanced Storage Research team. There I work on a variety of systems related projects. When not sitting a a desk, I do a lot of woodworking and general puttering about in my woodshop in rural Oregon.
Mostly this is a semi-professional website that provides a central place to find my work history, publication and talk information. I may (very) occasionally blog on technical and professional subjects as well.
